About GVNC

The Idea of Starting a college at Kovilpatti was mooted on 29th April, 1966. The college was formally inaugurated on 17th July, 1966 by Mr. M. Bakthavatsalam, The honorable Chief-Minister of Madras. G.Venkataswamy Naidu College was born on 30th June, 1966 by the auspices of the G. Kuppuswamy Naidu Charity Trust for Education and Medical Relief.
