YOUTH RED CROSS (YRC)

Youth Red Cross

Youth Red Cross, is the youth wing of the Indian Red Cross Society, a student movement focused on humanitarian service, health, and peace, encouraging young people (18-25 years) to develop leadership, offer first aid, serve the community, and promote Red Cross ideals through activities like disaster relief, health awareness, and national integration. Its motto is "to serve," guided by principles of Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, and Unity.

Vision

The vision of the Youth Red Cross is to create a humane and peaceful society by promoting the values of humanity, service, compassion, and voluntary action among youth, without discrimination based on caste, religion, nationality, or gender.

Mission

The mission of the Youth Red Cross is to inculcate humanitarian values in young people and encourage them to serve society through voluntary service, health awareness, disaster preparedness, and social welfare activities, following the principles of the Red Cross.

Objectives

1.) To promote humanitarian values among youth

2.) To encourage voluntary service

3.) To spread awareness on health, hygiene, and first aid

4.) To prepare youth for disaster relief and emergency services

5.) To promote national and international friendship
