G. VENKATASWAMY NAIDU COLLEGE was founded under the auspices of
THE KUPPUSWAMY NAIDU CHARITY TRUST FOR EDUCATION AND MEDICAL RELIEF, Coimbatore.
The trust was founded in 1948. The college was started by Shri. G. K. Devarajulu,
Shri. G.K. Sundaram and Shri. G.K. Rajagopal in memory of their uncle
Shri G. Venkataswamy Naidu, fulfilling the dream of their father Shri G. Kuppuswamy Naidu.
Their tireless efforts led to the establishment of several educational, medical and social institutions.
Today, the trust successfully manages the following:
- G.Kuppuswamy Naidu Charity Trust for Education and Medical Relief, Coimbatore.
- G.Kuppuswamy Naidu Memorial Hospital, Coimbatore.
- Institute of Nursing, Coimbatore.
- Mani Nursery, Primary and Higher Secondary School, Coimbatore.
- Raksha – The Hospice, Sengadu.
- Rasakondalar Matriculation School.
Vision of the Trust
- A desire to serve society through education, research and medical service.
- To establish schools, colleges, research institutes, hospitals and health centres in towns and villages.
